More Work with Stencils

I am popping in to show you a few more cards that I have made with my stencils to play along with some of my favourite challenges in blogland.  First up is a card made with the bold lips stencil:

I used the mask part of the stencil and then used a Tim Holtz splatter stencil round the outside in a range of colours to create a vibrant design.  The sentiment is from Skull and Cross Buns.  I shall link this up at Time Out where the word inspiration is Bold and at Simon's Wednesday Challenge where Anything Goes.

Here I inked through my new peacock stencil and highlighted some parts of the feathers with gold glitter.  The sentiment is from Avery Elle (I think).  I shall link this up at Seize the Birthday where Anything Goes.

You can find the stencils in my Folksy store.

Thanks for stopping by,

Sarah x

  1. Gorgeous cards! I'm getting more and more into stenciling and feel very inspired by your beautiful work, Jo x

  2. Ahhh...your stencil work is amazing! I love these cards Sarah!

Thank you so much for playing with us at Time Out!

  3. I love the explosion of color around the lips, Sarah. So vibrant and fun, and yes bold. The peacock looks lovely with his gold embellishment.

  4. Two fabulous cards but the lips with all those colours is my favourite.
Thank you for joining us at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.

  5. OH MY GOODNESS!!! I just LOVE those lips. The peacock is gorgeous too, but those lips are FABULOUS! Wonderfully done. You have done a beautiful job with our inspiration cue! Wonderful card, Sarah. Thanks for playing with us at Time Out. It's always a joy to see your work.

  6. Both cards are exceptional! The peacock feathers are AWESOME! Your gradation is incredible! Thanks for sharing your talents with us over at Seize the Birthday!
